About the Department

The department of psychology was established in the year 2020.. The department offers psychology as an ancillary subject along with Political Science, Economics in a 3year BA Degree programme under CBCS. Presently Dr.G.Koteswaraiah, Lecturer in Psychology is the In-Charge of the department .He did Masters Degree in Psychology in 1988 and obtained Doctoral Degree in Psychology (Ph.D.) in 1995 from Sri.Venkateswara University, Tirupati. He authored 8 Books and Published 15 research articles in different Referred journals. Participated in 20 National conferences and 4 International Conferences.He is a recipient of State Award to Meritorious Teachers-2011 from Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and also Sri.Lakshmi Sireesha Rani Gold Medal-1988 from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.
